• Perform necessary diagnostic tests, including arterial blood gases and pulmonary function testing
• Administer oxygen, aerosol, and medication therapy according to physician orders and established protocols
• Monitor and document patient progress, reporting changes to the medical team
• Operate and maintain respiratory therapy equipment and ensure safety standards are met
• Educate patients and families on respiratory therapies and home care practices
• Assist with emergency respiratory interventions as needed
