Your role will immerse you in state-of-the-art care settings, utilizing advanced equipment and technology such as Cerner EMR, Omnicell for medication dispensing, Spacelabs monitors, and various modern ventilators. The chance to work across adult and neonatal critical care units or join ground transports offers a dynamic environment, ensuring you’ll continually expand your expertise.

Weekday shifts offer the flexibility to explore Montgomery’s cultural sites, outdoor adventures, or local cuisine. Every day off is an opportunity for meaningful downtime—whether discovering local history or enjoying the natural beauty of central Alabama.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 3x12 hour day shifts, 7a-7p
  • Every other weekend rotation
  • Voluntary on-call opportunities
  • Up to 7 days off (excluding blackout dates)
  • Holiday work includes one major and one minor holiday

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Registered or Certified Respiratory Therapist with at least two years of experience
  • Experience in a Level III NICU within the past 12 months (if NICU role)
  • BLS and NRP required for NICU; ACLS/APLS preferred
  • Competence with Cerner or EPIC EMR; Omnicell, Spacelabs, and the full range of critical care/transport equipment
  • Open to first-time travelers with 2+ years of experience and supporting EMR track record

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver general and critical care respiratory therapy services (adults and/or NICU)
  • Perform and document advanced respiratory procedures and therapies
  • Float as needed to similar units and patient populations
  • Participate in safe ground transport, nitric oxide administration, and multidisciplinary care
