Registered Respiratory Therapist - Morgantown, West Virginia

Contribute your expertise as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in a key clinical role supporting a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). This position involves providing advanced respiratory care to neonatal and pediatric patients alongside a skilled multidisciplinary team.

Schedule:

• NICU day shift
• Three 12-hour day shifts per week
• Includes assigned weekends and holidays as scheduled

Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapist program; active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
• Current state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist
• Certifications required: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), and PALS (AHA)
• Solid clinical skills working in neonatal or pediatric intensive care, with strong knowledge of specialized equipment and procedures
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment, respond effectively to emergencies, and collaborate within a clinical setting

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive respiratory support and airway management for NICU patients, adhering strictly to safety and care protocols
• Administer and monitor therapeutic treatments, such as oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, and mechanical ventilation
• Conduct regular patient assessments and communicate critical changes to the healthcare team
• Accurately document all interventions and adhere to regulatory compliance guidelines
• Participate in ongoing education and training required for maintaining required certifications and clinical excellence
