Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active credential as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
  • Current license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist
  • Experience with ventilator management, aerosol therapy, and airway clearance techniques
  • Knowledge of current best practices in respiratory care and related equipment
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS/PALS preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and documentation abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer therapeutic and diagnostic cardiopulmonary procedures, including oxygen therapy, pulmonary function tests, and mechanical ventilation
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health staff to develop and adjust individualized care plans
  • Assess patient responses to therapy and modify interventions as indicated
  • Provide patient and family education regarding respiratory treatments and disease management
  • Ensure accurate, timely charting and documentation in accordance with facility protocols
  • Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot respiratory equipment to ensure patient safety
  • Uphold infection control standards and maintain a safe patient environment

$2,154 - $2,278/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
