Desired Background & Experience:
- Valid credentials as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Current Respiratory Therapy license (or eligibility) for applicable state
- Proven experience in inpatient respiratory care, including therapy modalities, ventilator management, and emergency response
- Ability to perform respiratory assessments and implement individualized care plans
- Strong collaborative approach in multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- BLS and ACLS certifications (or ability to obtain prior to start)
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer respiratory treatments and therapies per provider orders
- Monitor and evaluate patient respiratory status, reporting changes as needed
- Operate and maintain respiratory equipment (ventilators, nebulizers, etc.)
- Participate in rapid response and code situations, delivering acute interventions
- Educate patients and their families on respiratory health and home care techniques
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records
- Collaborate with nursing and medical staff to optimize patient outcomes

$1,912 - $2,022/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
