An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled Respiratory Therapist with strong clinical expertise to provide respiratory care within a dynamic healthcare environment. As a Registered Respiratory Therapist, you will play a vital role in assessing, treating, and caring for patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders. This contract position calls for a dedicated professional able to work autonomously as well as collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required
• Demonstrated proficiency in administering aerosol medications, chest physiotherapy, airway management, and ventilation support
• Strong communication, patient assessment, and critical-thinking skills
• Experience with adult and pediatric patients preferred
• Previous experience in an acute care or hospital setting beneficial

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality respiratory therapy to patients with a variety of pulmonary conditions
• Manage mechanical ventilation, including setup, monitoring, and troubleshooting
• Conduct bedside pulmonary function tests and provide oxygen therapy modalities
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to create and implement care plans
• Educate patients and their families about respiratory treatments and equipment use
• Accurately document patient progress and interventions in electronic health records
• Adhere to infection control procedures and facility policies at all times
