This travel opportunity for an experienced Respiratory Therapist provides valuable exposure to a dynamic, 492-bed facility featuring a Level II Trauma Center, Level III NICU, and Primary Stroke Center. You'll broaden your clinical expertise working with a wide range of patient populations and advanced technology—including Cerner EMR and leading ventilator models. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and gain new perspectives from varied leadership styles and workplace practices, all while enhancing your resume with sought-after skills.
Schedule & Shifts:
- 3 x 12-hour day shifts
- Weekend rotation: every other weekend
- Voluntary call available
- Holiday coverage: one major and one minor holiday per policy
- Flexible approval of up to 7 days off (with some blackout dates)
Qualifications & Certifications:
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) preferred
- Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) considered with 2+ years’ experience
- 2+ years’ recent experience—first-time travelers welcomed with strong background
- Experience with Cerner or EPIC EMR required
- BLS and NRP (NICU assignments); ACLS/APLS preferred
- Experience in Level III NICU within past 12 months highly valuable
Responsibilities:
- Deliver respiratory therapy care to diverse patient populations, including NICU and adults
- Participate in critical care interventions and ground transports
- Administer nitric oxide therapy (preferred)
- Flexible floating to like units/patient locations as needed
