Schedule/Hours:

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid credentials as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
  • Current Respiratory Therapy licensure (as required by state regulations)
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
  • Successful completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
  • Experience with ventilator management, airway care, and emergency interventions
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Previous experience in acute care or hospital setting is highly valued

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, and implement respiratory care for patients with acute or chronic conditions
  • Administer and monitor respiratory treatments, including mechanical ventilation and oxygen therapy
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other medical staff to coordinate patient care
  • Educate patients and families on respiratory therapies and equipment
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies
  • Respond swiftly to emergency situations, delivering effective airway management and life-saving interventions
