Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid license and credentials as a Respiratory Therapist (RT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Current certifications such as BLS (Basic Life Support) or ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) preferred
• Previous experience providing inpatient respiratory support in acute care or hospital environments
• Proficiency in ventilator management, oxygen therapy, airway management, and pulmonary function testing
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing clinical demands

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, monitor, and document patients’ respiratory status and needs
• Administer respiratory therapies and interventions according to provider orders and established protocols
• Operate and maintain respiratory equipment, including ventilators and oxygen delivery systems
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to optimize patient care plans
• Educate patients and families on disease management and equipment use
• Ensure compliance with infection control policies, safety regulations, and quality standards
