This 13-week travel opportunity provides exposure to a dynamic healthcare environment including a Level II Trauma Center, Level III NICU, and a Primary Stroke Center. You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, deepening your skill set while navigating a diverse patient population from adults in critical care to specialized NICU cases. This role is ideal for professionals eager to broaden their clinical knowledge, adapt to innovative technologies, and develop new approaches to patient care—enhancing your resume with experiences sought by future employers.

Schedule:

  • Three 12-hour day shifts weekly
  • Weekend rotation: every other weekend
  • Holiday expectations: one major, one minor per policy
  • Voluntary on-call opportunities
  • Up to 7 days off approved (excluding blackout dates)
  • Start: 6/8/26 | End: 9/5/26

Qualifications:

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT, with at least 2 years’ experience)
  • Not accepting travelers with less than 2 years’ experience; first-time travelers welcome if criteria met
  • BLS and NRP certification required for NICU; ACLS/APLS preferred
  • Recent Level III NICU experience (within last 12 months, for NICU RT role)
  • Experience with Cerner or EPIC EMR required
  • Ground transport and nitric oxide administration preferred for NICU role

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver respiratory care to a full range of hospital patients, including adult and NICU populations
  • Respond efficiently to critical situations and collaborate with medical staff
  • Float as needed between hospital units and levels of care
  • Utilize advanced technology (Cerner EMR, Omnicell, PB/Drager ventilators)
