Advance your career in healthcare as a valued Sleep Technologist with a respected medical team. This role focuses on supporting patients with sleep disorders by performing comprehensive sleep studies and monitoring to ensure accurate data collection and patient safety.

Schedule:

  • 13-week assignment
  • 3x12 hour night shifts (7:00 pm – 7:00 am, Wednesday through Friday)

Qualifications:

  • Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
  • Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) credential is mandatory
  • Prior experience in a respiratory or sleep technologist capacity preferred
  • Strong understanding of sleep study equipment and data interpretation
  • Excellent patient care and interpersonal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work independently during overnight hours

Responsibilities:

  • Set up, calibrate, and monitor sleep equipment for patient studies
  • Record and document physiological data throughout night studies
  • Stay vigilant to ensure patient safety and comfort during testing
  • Recognize and respond to emergent situations following established protocols
  • Score sleep studies and prepare complete, accurate documentation for interpretation
  • Provide patient education regarding study procedures and sleep disorders
  • Maintain compliance with facility standards and all regulatory guidelines
