Bring your expertise to a dynamic healthcare setting as a Sleep Technologist, providing essential patient care and playing a pivotal role in the diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders. This is a 13-week contract opportunity for a compassionate and skilled professional passionate about improving patient outcomes.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 12-hour night shifts (7pm–7am)
  • Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday

Qualifications:

  • Current BLS certification required
  • Valid RPSGT (Registered Polysomnographic Technologist) certification
  • Prior experience in sleep diagnostics, with proficiency in respiratory and sleep technology
  • Strong understanding of sleep study protocols, testing procedures, and patient monitoring equipment
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical abilities for data collection and interpretation
  • Clear communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare colleagues

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients for overnight polysomnography studies, explaining procedures and ensuring comfort
  • Monitor, record, and document sleep patterns, physiological measurements, and any events throughout study duration
  • Troubleshoot and calibrate equipment before and during use to guarantee optimal data accuracy
  • Score sleep studies and prepare detailed reports for physicians
  • Respond promptly to patient needs and clinical situations during testing
  • Maintain meticulous records in compliance with facility protocols and patient privacy standards
