Take the next step in your clinical career by utilizing your expertise as a Sleep Technologist in a dynamic contract opportunity. This vital role focuses on performing complex sleep study procedures and supporting patients, including children starting at 5 years old. Embrace the chance to expand your expertise while gaining hands-on training with Epic and working collaboratively across multiple regional sleep labs as determined by facility needs.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Four days per week
  • 10-hour overnight shifts: 7:30pm – 6:30am

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and conduct sleep diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, including CPAP and BiPAP titrations
  • Assist other technicians with troubleshooting to ensure high-quality data acquisition during polysomnogram (PSG) studies
  • Score and tabulate sleep study recordings in accordance with established guidelines (including sleep stages, respiratory events, and limb movements)
  • Generate comprehensive reports and performance summaries for physician review
  • Maintain compliance with BRPT Standards of Conduct and uphold patient safety and confidentiality at all times
  • Rotate among regional sleep lab sites as needed

Qualifications:

  • Registered Sleep Technologist (required)
  • Current BLS certification
  • Experience working with pediatric patients is highly preferred
  • Adaptability to work at multiple sleep laboratory locations within the regional network
  • Strong communication and attention to detail skills
  • Familiarity with or willingness to learn Epic electronic health records through on-the-job training
