Exciting opportunity for an experienced, registered Sleep Technologist with strong pediatric skills to deliver critical care as part of a respected healthcare network. This role offers involvement across several affiliated sleep lab locations and provides hands-on experience in the latest diagnostic and therapeutic sleep procedures.
Schedule:
- 4 days per week
- 10-hour shifts: 7:30 pm – 6:30 am
- Expect coverage at multiple affiliated lab sites according to operational needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including CPAP and BiPAP titrations
- Conduct and monitor polysomnographic recordings (PSGs) to ensure quality data acquisition
- Troubleshoot technical issues and assist other technicians with challenging cases
- Score and tabulate sleep studies based on recognized clinical guidelines, including sleep stages, respiratory events, and limb movements
- Prepare detailed, comprehensive sleep study reports for physician interpretation
- Maintain strict compliance with BRPT Standards of Conduct
- Work closely with pediatric patients, starting at 5 years of age, and their families to ensure comfort and accurate testing
- Participate in on-the-job Epic training to support workflow and documentation
Desired Abilities & Qualifications:
- Registered Sleep Technologist credential is required
- Current BLS certification
- Previous experience working with pediatric populations is highly preferred
- Flexible to work at various sleep lab locations depending on operational needs
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to support both patients and staff
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality in data collection and reporting
