Seeking an experienced professional skilled in respiratory and sleep technology for a 13-week opportunity. The role focuses on overnight shifts in a dynamic healthcare environment dedicated to delivering high-quality sleep studies and patient care.

Schedule:

  • 3 shifts per week (12-hour nights)
  • Wednesday through Friday, 7:00pm to 7:00am

Qualifications:

  • Current BLS certification required
  • Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) credential mandatory
  • Proven experience in both respiratory care and sleep technology
  • Strong attention to detail, especially in data collection and interpretation
  • Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with patients and interdisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive overnight polysomnographic evaluations, monitoring patients, and recording physiological data
  • Set up and calibrate equipment to ensure optimal testing conditions
  • Recognize and respond promptly to medical emergencies or patient concerns during overnight monitoring
  • Score studies and generate detailed clinical reports for physician review
  • Maintain accurate, organized documentation and uphold confidentiality standards
  • Educate patients about procedures and answer any questions to deliver a reassuring clinical experience
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery
