Seeking an experienced professional skilled in respiratory and sleep technology for a 13-week opportunity. The role focuses on overnight shifts in a dynamic healthcare environment dedicated to delivering high-quality sleep studies and patient care.
Schedule:
- 3 shifts per week (12-hour nights)
- Wednesday through Friday, 7:00pm to 7:00am
Qualifications:
- Current BLS certification required
- Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) credential mandatory
- Proven experience in both respiratory care and sleep technology
- Strong attention to detail, especially in data collection and interpretation
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with patients and interdisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive overnight polysomnographic evaluations, monitoring patients, and recording physiological data
- Set up and calibrate equipment to ensure optimal testing conditions
- Recognize and respond promptly to medical emergencies or patient concerns during overnight monitoring
- Score studies and generate detailed clinical reports for physician review
- Maintain accurate, organized documentation and uphold confidentiality standards
- Educate patients about procedures and answer any questions to deliver a reassuring clinical experience
- Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery
