Registered Respiratory Therapist in Albion, MI

Deliver vital respiratory care at a busy healthcare facility as a Registered Respiratory Therapist on a 13-week contract. Your expertise will support both Intensive Care and General Practice units, ensuring exceptional care and up-to-date documentation while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Schedule

• 3 x 12-hour shifts (1845-0715)
• Every other weekend required

Qualifications

• Current licensure and certification as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in respiratory therapy
• BLS certification is mandatory
• Strong communication skills for effective interactions with patients, colleagues, and physicians
• Experience with both invasive and non-invasive diagnostic procedures preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Administer life-support, resuscitation, and monitor medical gases therapy to patients per protocols
• Provide respiratory assessments, treatments, and therapies in Intensive Care and General Practice Units
• Perform and interpret invasive and non-invasive diagnostic procedures as assigned
• Document all aspects of patient care completely and accurately
• Supervise, direct, and delegate responsibilities to other Respiratory Therapists and students when required
• Maintain clinical expertise and adapt to assignments in various business units as needed
• Collaborate with supervisors and care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Complete required billing information efficiently
