Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Albion, Michigan

Schedule:

• 1845-0715 (overnight shift)
• Every other weekend required
• Three 12-hour shifts per week

Key Qualifications:

• Minimum of two years’ recent experience as a Respiratory Therapist
• Active, current licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
• Valid BLS certification
• Demonstrated proficiency in both invasive and non-invasive diagnostic procedures
• Ability to supervise and delegate tasks to therapists, externs, or students as needed

Responsibilities:

• Administer life-support, resuscitation, and medical gas therapy in both ICU and general care settings
• Perform a broad range of diagnostic procedures to meet acute patient needs
• Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to communicate and coordinate comprehensive care
• Ensure accurate documentation of all aspects of patient interventions and therapy outcomes
• Participate in departmental rotations, maintaining versatility across varying clinical assignments
• Direct and oversee support staff, providing mentorship and skill development to less experienced team members
• Complete precise billing information pertinent to respiratory treatments and services
