Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Albion, MI

Stepping into a crucial role within an interdisciplinary healthcare environment, you will serve patients by delivering essential respiratory therapy care. This position plays a vital part in both intensive care and general practice units, ensuring high-quality clinical service for individuals with diverse respiratory needs.

Schedule/Hours:

• 3 x 12-hour shifts (1845-0715)
• Every other weekend required
• 13-week assignment

Required Qualifications:

• Registered Respiratory Therapist credentials
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a clinical setting
• Active state licensure and current BLS certification
• Demonstrated proficiency in both invasive and non-invasive respiratory procedures
• Clear communication skills for engaging with patients, clinical staff, and multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide life-support, resuscitation measures, and the administration of various medical gas therapies
• Conduct and interpret invasive and non-invasive diagnostic procedures for critical care and general practice patients
• Maintain and advance clinical expertise, adapting to departmental assignments across various business units
• Thoroughly document patient care activities and ensure all relevant billing is completed with accuracy
• Supervise, direct, and delegate duties to Respiratory Therapists, orientees, externs, and students, supporting a collaborative learning environment
• Foster effective communication regarding patient care needs among staff, physicians, and other departments

$1,685 - $1,843/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
