Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Active credentials as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
• Valid license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in applicable state
• Experience performing respiratory assessments, administering treatments, and responding to respiratory emergencies
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, patients, and families
• Familiarity with a wide range of respiratory care equipment, including ventilators and oxygen therapy devices
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; ACLS preferred

Responsibilities:

• Deliver evidence-based respiratory care and treatments in accordance with physician orders
• Perform diagnostic tests such as arterial blood gas analysis, spirometry, and pulse oximetry
• Monitor and adjust mechanical ventilation and related equipment for optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and family members on proper respiratory techniques and equipment use
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with facility and regulatory standards
• Respond to rapid response calls and code situations as part of the clinical emergency team
