Required Qualifications:

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential—only RRTs will be considered
• Active respiratory therapy license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (as required by state)
• Experience providing comprehensive respiratory care in a high-acuity hospital setting preferred
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams
• Commitment to delivering safe, compassionate, high-quality care

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and monitor advanced ventilator and respiratory support to acute and critically ill patients
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, documenting findings and adjusting therapy plans in response to evolving conditions
• Educate patients and families regarding disease processes, respiratory treatments, and equipment management
• Respond promptly to emergency situations including airway and resuscitation interventions
• Participate actively in interdisciplinary rounds and contribute to care planning
• Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, safety guidelines, and evidence-based practices
• Support a positive, patient-focused environment by upholding hospital values
