Key Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential—CRT candidates will not be considered
• Active licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
• Demonstrated experience in acute care or hospital-based respiratory therapy
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking abilities
• Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams and high-acuity settings

Schedule/Hours:

• Full-time contract role (exact shifts and weekly hours will be discussed during the interview)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality respiratory therapy treatments to neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients as prescribed
• Assess, monitor, and document patient status, progressing therapy plans as needed
• Operate and maintain mechanical ventilation, airway management devices, and diagnostic equipment
• Collaborate with attending physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to optimize respiratory care
• Respond promptly to code situations, emergencies, and rapid response calls
• Educate patients and family members about disease management and respiratory equipment use
