Schedule:
- 8-hour day shifts
Required Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Care
- Minimum of three years’ experience, ideally in a long-term care environment
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care
- Licensed as a Respiratory Care Professional in the State of Georgia
- Proficient with computer applications such as Word, Excel, etc.
- Strong critical thinking, organization, and communication skills
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer respiratory and critical care procedures based on physician orders
- Assess, monitor, and document patient respiratory status and treatment outcomes
- Operate and maintain respiratory therapy equipment safely and effectively
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to create and adapt care plans
- Educate patients and their families on respiratory care procedures and home care as appropriate
- Maintain compliance with all applicable protocols, procedures, and regulations
