Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Atoka, OK

A contract opportunity is available at a small, 25-bed healthcare facility for a skilled Respiratory Therapist. This role is essential to managing ventilators and providing respiratory care support in a collaborative environment. Candidates with a background as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT), or those with experience in ED, Med/Surg, or LTAC settings are encouraged to apply.

Schedule:

• 8-week contract with possible extension
• 3 shifts per week: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM
• No weekends; schedule limited to Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Friday

Qualifications:

• Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
• Current, valid professional license in good standing
• Experience in emergency department and/or medical-surgical settings preferred
• Familiarity with ventilator management required
• Previous work in LTAC settings is a plus
• Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities

Responsibilities:

• Deliver respiratory care to patients as ordered by physicians
• Manage and monitor ventilators according to facility protocols
• Assess patients’ respiratory needs and treat accordingly
• Document all therapy delivered and communicate effectively with the healthcare team
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care as needed
