Registered Respiratory Therapist in Atoka, OK

An opportunity is available for a skilled respiratory care professional to support a 25-bed hospital with a focus on patient-centered service. The facility is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) for an assignment lasting eight weeks, with the potential for extension. This role is ideal for individuals with experience in the Emergency Department or Medical/Surgical units, and Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) Respiratory Therapists are encouraged to apply.

Schedule:

• 3x12-hour day shifts, 9a–9p
• No weekends required—shifts are scheduled between Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Friday

Qualifications:

• Active credential as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
• Experience working in ED, Med/Surg, or LTAC settings
• Proficiency in ventilator management is a must
• Current state licensure to practice as a Respiratory Therapist
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Strong communication and clinical assessment skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality respiratory care to patients in a small hospital setting (no ICU)
• Manage and monitor mechanical ventilation and non-invasive therapies
• Provide support for emergency interventions as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
• Collaborate with medical and nursing staff to optimize patient outcomes
