Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Active credential as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Valid respiratory care practitioner license (as required by state regulations)
• Proven experience in an acute care or hospital setting
• Familiarity with current respiratory care modalities, procedures, and equipment
• Ability to assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory disorders
• Strong critical thinking and communication abilities
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; ACLS preferred
• Commitment to maintaining patient safety and confidentiality

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver respiratory therapy treatments and diagnostic procedures as prescribed by physicians
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions to the interdisciplinary team
• Operate ventilators, airway management devices, and other respiratory equipment
• Respond promptly to emergency situations and rapid response calls
• Educate patients and their families about respiratory care techniques and disease management
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in patient records
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and support staff to optimize patient outcomes
