Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Baltimore, MD

Currently seeking talented respiratory care professionals for contract roles at reputable healthcare facilities. This position offers a dynamic environment, working with both adult and pediatric patients as part of a dedicated respiratory team. There are five openings available, with the opportunity to float between two well-established clinical sites, supporting a diverse patient population in a fast-paced setting.

Schedule/Hours:

• Day and night shifts available
• 13-week assignment
• Floating required between two hospital locations

Key Qualifications:

• Active credential as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
• Current state licensure as required for practice
• Previous acute care or hospital experience highly preferred
• Proficiency in respiratory therapy assessments and interventions
• Familiarity with a range of respiratory equipment and ventilator management
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Essential Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality respiratory care based on physician orders and hospital protocols
• Assess, plan, and evaluate the effectiveness of respiratory therapy interventions
• Administer oxygen, aerosolized medications, chest physiotherapy, and other modalities
• Monitor and document patient progress, updating care plans as needed
• Respond promptly to emergency respiratory situations and rapid response calls
• Educate patients and families on equipment use and therapeutic procedures
• Ensure safety and adherence to infection control standards while floating between assigned hospitals
