Respiratory Therapist | Bel Air, Maryland

Deliver exceptional respiratory care on a contract basis by utilizing your expertise as a Respiratory Therapist in a respected healthcare environment. Multiple opening are available to work both day and night shifts, offering flexibility for your lifestyle. You’ll gain valuable experience over a 13-week assignment supporting diverse patient populations and collaborating with a talented clinical team.

Schedule/Hours:

• Opportunity to work days and nights
• 13-week commitment
• Floating between two sites to support patient needs

Qualifications:

• Active credentials as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
• Valid state licensure in respiratory care
• Prior clinical experience as a Respiratory Therapist preferred
• Ability to adapt and excel across different hospital settings
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Critical thinking and dedication to high-quality patient care

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and evaluate patient responses
• Operate and maintain ventilators, oxygen equipment, and aerosol treatments
• Perform arterial blood gas analysis and interpret results
• Monitor and document patient progress using electronic health records
• Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals
• Respond promptly to emergency situations and rapid response calls
• Educate patients and family members on respiratory management and therapies
• Flexibility to float between designated hospital campuses as needed
