Schedule/Hours:

  • Three 12-hour night shifts (3x12 nights)
  • 36 guaranteed hours per week
  • Call requirements: 2 hours for oncoming shift coverage
  • 26-week assignments preferred
  • Multiple openings available

Qualifications:

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with at least 3 years of experience
  • Background in tertiary, teaching hospital settings; Level 1 trauma experience required
  • Experience with adult acute/critical care; must also float to NICU/PICU, acute pediatrics, and Emergency Department
  • Must hold BLS certification; ACLS preferred; NRP certification for NICU
  • Proficient with various respiratory equipment (Drager, Hamilton, Trilogy, Vapotherm) and EPIC EMR
  • Strong communication skills, adaptable, and a collaborative team player

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive patient care across diverse units, including acute, critical, pediatric, and neonatal settings
  • Collaborate closely with a respiratory therapy team of 14-16 RRTs
  • Rotate through various departments and respond to emergent needs hospital-wide
  • Participate in the care and management of a broad spectrum of patient populations with varying acuity levels
