Qualifications:

• Valid credentials as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Current state licensure to practice as a Respiratory Therapist
• Proven experience in delivering inpatient and outpatient respiratory care preferred
• BLS certification; ACLS desirable
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills

Key responsibilities:

• Administer prescribed respiratory care procedures, including treatments, ventilator management, and airway care
• Monitor, evaluate, and document patient progress and responses to therapy
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to develop and adjust patient care plans
• Educate patients and families on respiratory therapies and self-care techniques
• Operate and maintain respiratory equipment according to protocols and safety standards
• Adhere to infection control regulations and organizational policies
