Schedule:
- 7:00 pm – 7:30 am
- Every other weekend required
Qualifications:
- Valid credentials as a Respiratory Therapist or Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification preferred
- Strong clinical skills with a commitment to best practices in respiratory therapy
- Excellent communication and critical thinking abilities
- Dedication to compassionate, patient-centered care
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality respiratory care, including assessment, treatment, and monitoring of patients with respiratory disorders
- Operate ventilators, oxygen delivery devices, and other respiratory equipment effectively and safely
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the healthcare team to implement and evaluate respiratory therapy plans
- Administer inhaled medications and monitor patient response to treatments
- Educate patients and their families regarding respiratory procedures and ongoing care needs
- Maintain accurate documentation for all treatments and therapies administered
