Deliver essential respiratory care as a valued healthcare professional in a dynamic medical environment. This contract opportunity is ideal for a skilled Respiratory Therapist or Registered Respiratory Therapist who is dedicated to top-quality patient care.

Schedule:

  • 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM shifts
  • Every other weekend required

Required Qualifications:

  • Active credentials as a Respiratory Therapist or Registered Respiratory Therapist
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification preferred
  • Strong understanding of respiratory care protocols and equipment
  • Ability to adapt quickly and effectively in a fast-paced hospital setting
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct diagnostic tests and administer treatments as ordered by medical staff
  • Monitor patients’ respiratory status and adjust care plans as needed
  • Operate and maintain a variety of respiratory therapy equipment, ensuring safety and accuracy
  • Respond promptly in critical care situations for neonates, children, and adult patients
  • Document treatments, observations, and patient responses in compliance with facility standards
  • Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other allied health professionals to deliver exceptional care
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans and equipment usage, fostering understanding and comfort
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized patient care environment
