Deliver advanced respiratory care and expertise in a dynamic healthcare environment through a rewarding contract opportunity. This position involves supporting patients across Intensive Care and General Practice Units by administering life-support, resuscitation, medical gas therapies, and both invasive and non-invasive diagnostic procedures. You’ll work closely with a multidisciplinary team, maintain precise documentation, and ensure safe, effective care is delivered to each patient.

Schedule:

  • Shifts run from 18:45-07:15
  • Rotating every other weekend
  • 3 x 12-hour shifts per week

Key Qualifications:

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist with active, current licensure
  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on respiratory therapy experience required
  • Valid BLS certification
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Strong documentation skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities:

  • Provide safe, effective respiratory therapies under supervisory guidance
  • Perform and interpret both invasive and non-invasive diagnostic tests
  • Deliver care to patients requiring life-support or resuscitation in various care settings
  • Supervise, delegate, and mentor respiratory therapy team members, including students and externs
  • Ensure all aspects of patient care are thoroughly documented
  • Complete billing processes accurately and promptly
