Registered Respiratory Therapist in Brooklyn, MI

This contract opportunity offers a 13-week assignment, allowing you to focus on delivering exceptional care and advancing your expertise.

Schedule:

• 3 x 12-hour shifts per week
• 1845-0715 (overnight)
• Every other weekend required

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
• Active licensure and certification required
• Current BLS certification
• Strong communication abilities for collaboration with care teams and patients
• Experience supervising or mentoring respiratory staff is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer a range of life-support, therapeutic, and resuscitative respiratory modalities to patients
• Perform both invasive and non-invasive diagnostic procedures
• Maintain clinical competence across different department assignments as required
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals regarding care needs
• Accurately document all patient care and interventions
• Provide leadership and delegation to Respiratory Therapists, trainees, externs, and students
• Ensure completion of accurate patient billing information

$1,685 - $1,843/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
