Schedule/Hours
- 3x12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- Multiple openings
- 26-week preferred assignment
- Weekend and call coverage required (2 hours’ notice for oncoming shift)
Qualifications/Experience
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
- BLS required; ACLS preferred; NRP for NICU
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in tertiary, teaching hospitals (level 1 trauma center exposure preferred)
- Strong background in both adult and pediatric acute/critical care; experience in NICU/PICU and cardiothoracic units is advantageous
- Proficiency with Drager, Hamilton, Respironics, Trilogy, Airvo, and Vapotherm systems
- Familiarity with EPIC EMR
- Flexible, collaborative communicator; team-oriented
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality respiratory therapy for diverse populations across varied acuity levels
- Float as needed to NICU, PICU, ED, adult acute/critical units
- Manage caseloads with patient ratios of 1:25 (acute) and 1:8 (critical)
- Operate advanced ventilatory support equipment across the hospital
- Maintain accurate documentation and coordinate care within large, cohesive RT teams
