Step into a vital healthcare role as a Registered Respiratory Therapist supporting patients through their respiratory challenges. This contract opportunity offers the chance to provide specialized care and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals in a dynamic clinical environment.

Schedule:

  • Evenings: 3:00pm – 11:30pm
  • 32 hours per week
  • Every other weekend and holiday rotation

Qualifications:

  • Current credential as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
  • Valid state respiratory care practitioner license
  • Demonstrated competence in a range of respiratory therapy procedures and modalities
  • BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Comfortable working autonomously and as part of an interdisciplinary team
  • Excellent communication skills for patient interactions and collaboration with healthcare staff

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality respiratory care, including ventilator management, airway care, and administration of therapeutic modalities
  • Perform assessments and evaluate patient responses to therapies and interventions
  • Accurately document care provided and patient progress according to protocols
  • Educate patients and families on respiratory treatments and equipment use
  • Participate in code and emergency response situations as required
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to optimize patient outcomes
