  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Covid vaccination required, or a valid medical exemption
  • Proven experience in respiratory therapy in either acute or sub-acute settings
  • Strong communication skills and clinical judgment
  • Committed to maintaining evidence-based respiratory practices

Schedule:

  • Day shift hours
  • On-call responsibilities included

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, and implement respiratory therapy treatments in collaboration with physicians and nursing staff
  • Administer therapeutic procedures such as oxygen therapy, airway management, and advanced ventilation support
  • Accurately monitor and record patient responses and adjust care plans as needed
  • Perform diagnostic procedures including arterial blood gases and pulmonary function tests
  • Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory care equipment to ensure optimal operation and patient safety
  • Deliver patient and family education on treatments, home care techniques, and preventive respiratory health
  • Adhere to infection control protocols and facility policy to safeguard patients and staff
