Schedule:

  • Day shift schedule with on-call responsibility

Qualifications:

  • Active licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or an approved medical exemption
  • Proven experience in acute care or hospital respiratory therapy settings
  • Strong assessment skills and the ability to respond effectively in urgent situations
  • Excellent communication and patient-focused care approach

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, and deliver comprehensive respiratory care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
  • Perform diagnostic procedures such as arterial blood gas analyses and pulmonary function tests
  • Operate and maintain respiratory therapy equipment including ventilators and oxygen devices
  • Respond rapidly to emergent respiratory situations and participate in patient resuscitation efforts when needed
  • Document all clinical activities and patient responses accurately
  • Educate patients and families on respiratory care techniques and at-home management strategies
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
