Registered Respiratory Therapist in Candler, NC

As a Respiratory Therapist with current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentials, you will play an important role in delivering exceptional patient care in a distinguished regional referral center. You’ll support advanced medical interventions and work in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team at a high-performing facility recognized for its commitment to clinical quality, patient safety, and specialized services including trauma and neonatal care.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification is required (Certified Respiratory Therapists are not eligible for this position)
• Current state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist
• BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred
• At least one year of acute care or hospital experience preferred
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and patient-centered care

Responsibilities:

• Deliver respiratory therapy treatments to neonatal, pediatric, and adult populations in a hospital setting
• Participate in assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and monitor patient progress
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot a variety of respiratory equipment, ventilators, and monitoring systems
• Respond to emergency codes and participate in rapid response teams as needed
• Provide patient and family education regarding respiratory care and disease management
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes

$2,057 - $2,176/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
