Registered Respiratory Therapist in Caney, OK

This role is ideal for a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) with experience in Emergency Department (ED), Medical/Surgical (Med/Surg), or Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) settings.

Schedule & Duration

• 8-week contract, with potential for extension
• 3x12 hour shifts: 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
• No weekends! Schedule will include Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Friday coverage only

Qualifications

• Active RRT or CRT licensure required
• Recent experience in ED, Med/Surg, or LTAC respiratory therapy
• Experience with ventilator management
• Ability to work effectively in a small facility environment (no ICU)
• Strong communication and multitasking skills

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert respiratory care and support within a 25-bed hospital
• Manage ventilator-dependent patients safely and efficiently
• Collaborate with nursing and provider teams to deliver high-quality respiratory interventions
• Monitor and record patient progress, adjusting care plans as needed
• Respond to acute situations in collaboration with the ED and inpatient units
