Registered Respiratory Therapist in Carmel, IN

Preferred qualifications:

• Active credential as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
• BLS certification required
• Generalist experience preferred
• Experience working with GE equipment highly desired
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Primary responsibilities:

• Administer all aspects of respiratory therapy care to patients, including airway management, ventilator support, and diagnostic procedures
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and family members about respiratory treatments and techniques
• Ensure proper documentation, equipment calibration, and adherence to established protocols and standards
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment in accordance with infection control guidelines
