Schedule & Hours
- 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend required
- Expectation to work approximately 75% of holidays
- No on-call or call-back obligations
Qualifications
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
- Valid NC Respiratory Therapy Licensure required
- Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP
- At least 2 years of respiratory therapy experience; resource team experience is highly valued
- Proficiency with IPPV/NIPPV ventilators in settings such as ED, PICU, Peds CVICU, Peds PCU, and general medical floors
- Experience caring for neonates, pediatrics, and adults
- EPIC EMR experience preferred
- First-time travelers are welcome
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive respiratory care across neonate, pediatric, and adult populations based on patient needs
- Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot ventilators and other critical equipment
- Collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary team in a rapid-paced environment
- Maintain accurate electronic documentation using EPIC
- Uphold department standards and contribute to an environment of continuous learning
