Qualifications:

• Active credentials as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Current state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist
• Associates degree or higher in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program
• Proven experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred
• Strong knowledge of respiratory therapy protocols and best practices
• Proficiency with ventilators, aerosol medications, and various respiratory care modalities
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and implement effective respiratory therapy procedures for patients with acute and chronic respiratory illnesses
• Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, chest physiotherapy, and mechanical ventilation as indicated

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and adjust patient care plans
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding respiratory equipment and therapies
