Deliver expert, high-quality respiratory care as a professional respiratory therapist within a dynamic clinical environment. This position offers the opportunity to make a difference in patient outcomes across Intensive Care and General Practice Units. You’ll provide advanced life-support, resuscitation, and both invasive and non-invasive diagnostic procedures while ensuring the highest standards of care and communication.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 3 x 12-hour shifts per week
  • Evening and overnight shifts from 18:45 to 07:15
  • Every other weekend required
  • 13-week contract

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Respiratory Therapist or Registered Respiratory Therapist
  • Current and valid professional licensure
  • Active BLS certification
  • Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills
  • Experience supervising or mentoring staff or students preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory care using evidence-based protocols
  • Operate and monitor ventilators, administer medical gases, and provide airway management
  • Communicate closely with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members regarding patient status and care needs
  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and complete patient billing
  • Supervise and direct respiratory therapists, students, and externs, assisting with orientation and skill development
  • Rotate assignments across various units as directed to meet department needs
