Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Chelsea, MI

Step into a vital role as a Respiratory Therapist and utilize your advanced skills to provide critical care to patients in both Intensive Care and General Practice settings. This contract offers a unique opportunity to contribute expertise and compassion to a dynamic clinical environment over a 13-week assignment.

Schedule:

• 1845-0715 shifts
• Three 12-hour shifts each week
• Every other weekend rotation

Qualifications:

• Registered Respiratory Therapist with a minimum of 2 years direct clinical experience
• Active, current licensure and certification in good standing
• BLS certification required
• Ability to supervise and provide direction to therapists, orientees, externs, and students
• Strong communication skills for patient and healthcare team interaction
• Detail-oriented with experience in accurate documentation and billing

Responsibilities:

• Deliver life-support, resuscitation, and administer various medical gas therapies
• Perform both invasive and non-invasive procedures in accordance with department protocols
• Provide therapy services to patients in multiple units as assigned
• Maintain flexibility to adapt to departmental needs in various business units
• Accurately document all aspects of patient care for medical and billing purposes
• Communicate with patients, physicians, and other staff to ensure optimal care delivery
• Oversee and mentor less-experienced staff and students as assigned

$1,685 - $1,843/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
