Respiratory Therapist | Cleveland, Ohio

Step into a vital role providing essential care as a skilled Respiratory Therapist. This contract opportunity spans 13 weeks and requires dedication to outstanding patient support in a dynamic healthcare setting.

Schedule/Hours:

• 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (nights)
• 6:00 pm – 6:30 am
• On-call duty for 4 night shifts within a six-week period to provide additional coverage as needed

Qualifications:

• Current Ohio Respiratory Care Professional License
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Previous experience in acute care or inpatient settings preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and ventilator management skills
• Excellent communication and critical-thinking abilities

Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory therapy procedures and modalities to patients of all acuity levels
• Perform assessments and monitor patient responses throughout therapy
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Initiate and manage mechanical ventilation and noninvasive support per physician orders
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care and equipment use
• Accurately document therapies, interventions, and patient progress
• Participate in on-call rotations to ensure consistent coverage and support across various units

$1,815 - $1,920/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
