Registered Respiratory Therapist in Cleveland, OH

A contract opportunity is available for skilled professionals who are passionate about providing exceptional respiratory care. This role is ideal for candidates with expertise as a Respiratory Therapist or Registered Respiratory Therapist, interested in working a consistent night schedule within a reputable healthcare environment.

Schedule/Hours:

• Night shifts: 7:00pm to 7:30am
• 32 hours per week
• Includes weekend and holiday rotations

Qualifications:

• Active Respiratory Therapist license or Registered Respiratory Therapist certification
• Previous experience in acute or hospital-based respiratory care
• Strong understanding of respiratory therapy modalities, ventilator management, and airway care
• Ability to effectively communicate with medical staff, patients, and their families
• Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills
• Current BLS certification required

Responsibilities:

• Deliver respiratory therapy treatments to patients based on physician orders and clinical assessment
• Monitor, evaluate, and adjust ventilator support and other therapeutic interventions
• Respond promptly to emergency situations, including code blues and rapid response calls
• Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions and effective use of respiratory equipment
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure coordinated patient care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapies, assessments, and patient outcomes
• Adhere to infection control protocols and safety procedures
