Key Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Current state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist
• Experience with respiratory equipment, including ventilators and nebulizers
• Ability to perform pulmonary function tests, arterial blood gas analysis, and airway management
• Strong clinical judgment and excellent patient assessment skills
• Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive respiratory assessments for patients with a variety of acute and chronic conditions
• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures, monitoring responses and adjusting as indicated
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to design and implement care plans
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care techniques, equipment use, and disease management
• Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, patient responses, and equipment usage
• Participate actively in emergency care response and code situations as needed
