Seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist with current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentials for an engaging contract assignment. This opportunity is ideal for passionate individuals eager to provide excellent respiratory care in a hospital environment renowned for its high standards and patient-focused approach.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Evenings: 3:00pm–11:30pm
  • 32 hours per week
  • Every other weekend and holiday required

Qualifications:

  • Active and valid Respiratory Therapist license
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required
  • Proven clinical competency in respiratory therapy, acute care experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams and patients
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing clinical situations and prioritize patient needs

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a wide range of respiratory care modalities including oxygen therapy, airway management, and ventilator support
  • Assess, monitor, and document patient response to respiratory interventions
  • Assist in rapid response and code situations, providing critical respiratory care as part of the interdisciplinary emergency team
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans, equipment usage, and healthy breathing practices
  • Maintain and operate advanced respiratory equipment, ensuring safety and compliance with hospital protocols
  • Uphold infection control and safety standards in all clinical areas
