Seeking a skilled respiratory care professional to join a close-knit team in a small hospital environment. This role is ideal for a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT), or an experienced Respiratory Therapist with a background in emergency department and/or medical-surgical settings. Respiratory therapists from LTAC facilities are also encouraged to apply.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 8-week assignment, with the possibility of extension
  • 3 shifts per week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Friday)
  • Day shifts, 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM
  • No weekend shifts required

Qualifications:

  • Current certification or registration as a Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT)
  • Experience in emergency department (ED) or medical-surgical (Med/Surg) units
  • Ventilator management skills
  • Ability to adapt to a small facility setting—no ICU, 25-bed hospital
  • Active and unrestricted state license for practice
  • Excellent communication and patient-care skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality respiratory care to a diverse patient population
  • Manage ventilators, perform respiratory assessments, and administer appropriate therapies
  • Respond promptly to urgent respiratory needs in ED and Med/Surg units
  • Collaborate with nursing and medical staff to provide seamless patient care
  • Document treatments and outcomes accurately according to facility standards
