Qualifications:

  • Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy (or equivalent)
  • ACLS, BLS, and other applicable certifications preferred
  • Previous acute care or hospital experience is highly valued
  • Excellent communication, assessment, and decision-making skills

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality respiratory care to patients of all ages
  • Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, ventilator management, and pulmonary procedures
  • Assess, monitor, and document patient responses to respiratory interventions
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Provide patient and family education about respiratory therapies and equipment
  • Maintain equipment and adhere to infection control protocols
