Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Concord, NC

This contract role offers the opportunity to provide vital patient care within a highly specialized respiratory care team focused on neonate, pediatric, and occasional adult patients.

Schedule:

• 12-hour night shifts (36 hours/week): 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend rotation
• No on-call requirements
• Expected to work 75% of holidays
• Up to 6 days of approved time off (excluding holidays; RTO may impact contract length if unable to meet contracted hours)

Qualifications:

• Registered or Certified Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT)
• Current NC licensure
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
• Minimum 2 years' experience in respiratory therapy (Resource Team), including experience in ventilator management (IPPV/NIPPV)
• Experience in pediatric and neonatal units (ED, PICU, Peds CVICU, Peds PCU, General Med floors)
• Comfortable working with pediatric and adult patients as required
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver respiratory care to a diverse patient population, with a primary focus on neonate and pediatric care
• Utilize advanced respiratory technology and ventilators (IPPV/NIPPV)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and follow department protocols
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC EMR
• Benefit from strong respiratory leadership and departmental support
• Attend facility and unit-specific orientation (NEO and two departmental days)
• Adhere to current scheduling, uniform (royal blue scrubs), and facility policies

$2,025 - $2,203/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
