Registered Respiratory Therapist in Cuba, NY

Qualifications & Experience Sought:

• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
• Valid Respiratory Therapy license
• Prior clinical experience as a Respiratory Therapist
• Knowledge of respiratory equipment and modern therapeutic procedures
• BLS and ACLS certification preferred
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team setting

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform assessments and administer respiratory therapy treatments as ordered by physicians
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot ventilators, oxygen equipment, and other respiratory devices
• Deliver both emergency and routine therapies in acute and critical care settings
• Monitor patient progress, adjust therapies, and document all interventions accurately
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care techniques, treatments, and equipment use
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other providers to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain strict compliance with safety protocols, infection control standards, and facility policies

$2,270 - $2,394/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
